A new era in luxury residential living in Brisbane has begun, with Tomkins Commercial commencing construction on the $250 million clifftop development, Skye by Pikos.

The occasion was marked with an official groundbreaking ceremony at the project’s Kangaroo Point site, attended by Brisbane City Councillor Adam Allan and representatives from Tomkins and the Pikos Group.

Certain to become one of Brisbane’s landmark developments, Skye by Pikos occupies a 2,300m² site above the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Comprising three towers, the development will feature 68 luxury residences, a 1,000m² sky deck and infinity pool, and a rooftop leisure and restaurant precinct.

Tomkins is proud to have been awarded the design and construct contract for Skye by Pikos. PROJECT UPDATE – MARCH 2023: This first construction update represents a significant milestone for the Tomkins Team. Excavation is well underway (with approximately 24,000m³ of rock set to be removed), digging down four storeys through Kangaroo Point rock to accommodate underground parking facilities that will be enjoyed by the lucky future residents of this iconic riverfront development. Construction of the retention wall has commenced and the reinforcement of the perimeter walls is progressing. We are super excited to be watching Skye by Pikos come out of the ground during 2023, and look forward to sharing regular updates on this exceptional project!
